Leeds Puppy Superstore

Stephen | 29.08.2007 14:40 | Animal Liberation

Dogs4us are planning on opening a new superstore in Bramley in early May.

I think we all know that superstores such as these get the puppies from puppy farms where the dogs are kept in terrible conditions. Meanwhile there are stray dogs being put down because nobody wants them.

Building work is already underway, but it's not too late to shut them down. You can write to the council and your MP to urge them to revoke this comany's license. You can urge people to buy dogs from respectable breaders and/or rescue homes - nobody has more power to fight the puppy farms than the consumer. You can put up posters, hand out fliers, and point people towards videos showing the awful conditions in these puppy farms.

Horrified

02.10.2008 17:00

I have just visited pups4you in bramley and my sister and i are still very upset. We were horrified at the condition of all the puppies, they are grossly underwheight huddling together to keep warm and very frightened. All the dogs were extremely thin but the rottweilers and bassets, boxers were emaciated. This is not acceptable, why is it allowed?Where are the RSPCA?When my sister told a member of staff about the condition of the pups she went away and told another member of staff who promptly came within hearing distance to us and said very loudly"oh you get used to it after a while"!!!!!!! If so many people are complaining why am I writing this? What is going to be done? This cannot be allowed to continue, these dogs are for sale for hundreds of pounds each, they are from breeders who should be shot! All you animal lovers out there, take a trip to this shop and then try to go home and sleep at night! We need action and NOW!!!!!!!
