The murder of 11 year old Rhys Jones may have resulted in people being afraid to come forward.But it has put the street cred of both gangs down to the point of no return.Even now as I write the young kids are shouting things like."Your quiet now arn't you".And they are.They don't want to be seen anymore as gang members.But that has not let people forget what they have been like.The link below shows the feeling of people in responce to a memorial page for gunned down thug Liam Smith.Most comments are from young people.There is no sympathy for Smith.In fact the opposite.

In the past week 11 teenagers between the ages of 13 and 19 have been arrested.The latest,a 15 year old was arrested early today.But police have still not made any inroads so far.In gun crimes it is rare for the bullet fired not to be recovered.In this crime three were fired and none have been found.Police are still searching Dam Wood,no douubt for the actual gun.I would suspect they will find a number of guns that will have been dumped in the past week.In the past 3 years I have found quite a lot of ammunition.One calibre were nato rounds,the kind of clip that has one round of tracer in it.There were reports last year by residents of a Kalashnikov type weapon being fired on the Norris Green estate.So it's no wonder why people are afraid to come forward.
But if you follow through with the link above and you kinow anything you will see the gangs days are numbered.They are alone and isolated.Nobody wants to be near any of them.They are now in the class of paedophiles and despised.No one in the community would criticise you for putting this scumbag away.So much so if the community had his name he would be dragged from his home and burnt in the street.So don't be afraid if you know something.They are cowards.
