SMASH EDO ACTION CAMP:
POLICE THREATENING EVICTION 14:00 TUESDAY

Yesterday a peaceful protest camp began in Mouslecoomb Wild Park, Brighton to campaign against the weapons manufacturer EDO/MBM. 40 police officers have threatened to use by-laws repealed in 1928 to 'forcibly evict the camp.' Inspector Parr is in charge of the operation. Brighton Council parks department are completely unaware of the eviction. Police say they will only take half an hour to completely dismantle the camp.

Get down there to stop the eviction!

The Lodges descend.

Sounds as if all the Sussex finest have escaped from the Lodges and taken up the cudgels as usual. Why not have an action against the Lodges where they all dress up in their masonic attire and act out weird rituals?

I wasn't really present last year, but the short while I was the police had said exactly the same thing. Why not get in touch with the park rangers from the council to ensure that no laws are broken by the police?

Why not try Jane Willmott - Countryside Manager, 01273 292140?
