Heathrow climate camp public meeting: what happened? What happens next?

john | 28.08.2007 09:30 | Climate Camp 2007

The manchester contingent of the Camp for Climate Action will be holding a public meeting on Friday 7th of September, from 6.30pm on Friday 7th of September, at the Manchester Friends meeting house (mount street, behind the central library).

The meeting will include presentations on what took place during this years camp, how it was organised, and why it was conducted in this manner.
There will also be a Q and A, and opportunities for discussion of what should happen next.

Much of the media coverage of the camp was misleading. We hope this meeting will provide a good opportunity for those who were unable to attend to find out more about the events that took place at Heathrow, and get involved in future campaigning activities with the manchester group should they be interested. Drinks and snacks will be available if any further incentive is required!

Some publicity has already gone out advertising the event as being on the 31st of August, apologies for the change of date.
