Frequently the community is accused of doing violence to the freedom of individuality. This charge may be applicable to a compromise but not to the community. In a conscious community there is a place for every enterprise, which is not possible without trust. Each one may select his task at will, for every labour is enhanced by consensus. There is no tedious mechanical performance, for the worker is at the same time an innovator. He understands the significance of the problem of perfection of the group without disturbing the general rhythm.
Community – co-operation – is the only rational means of living together. Solitude is the solution of the problem of life outside the community. All intermediate manifestations are different steps of compromise and are doomed to dissolution. People think of an inherited hierarchy – the construction is absurd. Only consciousness of co-operation – community – affirms evolution. He who wishes to devote himself to the true community acts in agreement with the fundamentals of freedom.
The conscious community excludes two enemies of society: inequality and conformity. Inequality leads to tyranny. Conformity is a compromise, and it brings in corruption of the foundations. Needed is clarity of construction, a dislike of conventions, and faith in children as a symbol of the progress of mankind.
Only from within the community can we think about the future. Let us shift the consciousness to the betterment of all life, and the struggle for existence will be replaced by the conquest of possibilities. Therefore think about the community and improve the spirit.
By a rare experiment, one can see how the heart reflects even far-off earthquakes and other world-events. One can notice how not only cosmic perturbations but even reflections of the radiations of the spirit act at remote distances. We pay attention to the simple transmission of air in the lungs, which brings to the heart the essence of world-balance and back. An impure air interferes with the intuition. The physical and the spiritual usually act in accordance. This is the definition of health. Pollution has such effect on man that he does not even recognise it in both ways. We can clearly observe this from that indiscriminate language of some unnamed people who take away a lot of air. It does not give but takes. Sometimes smoking can still restore the balance as a form of homoeopathy, but this is disliked by the bigot.
This concerns the exploitation by certain politicians of their mentally diseased audience, a reason why the public has authorised their choices based on false assumptions, an omission which can be quite heavy and has caused many generations to regress in the past. Names were given to their leaders, but not to the underlying spirit of the time, a form of mental laziness. The spirit has been the study of poets and novelists who have measured this general consensus dramatising it. But even the time-spirit does not act apart from the influence of the least presumptuous of these freethinkers, the masters of wisdom, who see everything in perspective and act accordingly.
This acting has become more essential since people may not be used to their beneficial presence since they themselves have destroyed the Atlantean civilisation, now mechanically reincarnated to the same test previously failed. It will be the last test perhaps, but one that has been predicted.
Revelation is often complacently taken as the final say about the end of the world by fundamentalists (who cannot improvise very well). That is nonsense of course. It was an echo of Atlantis in the author's timeless state of mind, and an allegory, a warning although that such a thing will be repeated if we will not change the original state of mind that has caused the calamity. We have now recovered sufficiently from it to be able to make a choice. It would be a cowardly scenario if the end of the world surprised us out of the blue. Yet this description seems accurate from a bird's eye view. Infinity is comprised in one single moment.
The order of events is hard to express in the two-dimensional. At the same time there is only such order in two dimensions, symbolised in the line. This is what the illusion of this earth is really all about, and which John has revealed: a promotion of other dimensions than the purely political. Also cause and effect are not linear as some people still seem to be advertising.
This advertising-campaign is counter-productive and exactly the reason why people believe causality does not exist and that they can safely go to the supermarket or to the battlefield. The relationship between these two phenomena is non-linear.
