Trade A Favour Launches Unique New Service

TradeAFavour.net | 26.08.2007 15:06

Based on the premise that virtually everybody uses the question; "Can you do me a favour?” Tradeafavour.net has launched a platform for Internet users to ask others to "do me a favour".

Batley, UK – 26/07/07 - "Trade a Favour", a unique concept in the world of the Internet, announced that they have begun the ‘pre-launch’ phase of their service. Believed to be the first of its kind, the service takes the common question "can you do me a favour?" to a whole new level, providing a platform for Internet users to trade "favours" with each other.

Similar to the age-old system of bartering, but utilising people's own skills, Trade a Favour offers a way for Internet users to ask others within their own, self defined, area to perform tasks that they themselves cannot do in exchange for the skills of the initial advertiser. Where the barter system would usually be goods in exchange for goods, this completely new service gives Internet users a way of saving money by paying "in kind" with their own skills.

Many people regularly ask their friends or relatives to do tasks for them that they themselves cannot do, especially if that friend/relative is skilled in that particular area. What Trade A Favour offers is the chance for Internet users to find people who are skilled in areas that their friends or relatives are not. Some examples are available on Trade A Favour's website.

This unique service is expected to capture the imagination of Internet users worldwide as the site becomes established. Being completely new however, Trade A Favour Limited, the company behind the concept, knows that the next few months could be crucial to the success of their innovative website.

The website itself is laid out in an easily navigable way, with tabs above the main content of the site for ease of use. Trade A Favour appear to have considered the end users in all aspects of the site design and layout, with helpful tips and guides being readily available. Improvements and changes are currently being made regularly as the young website bids to attract users to this interesting new service.

The brainchild of Trade A Favour's European Director Ørjan Thorkildsen, he explained how the concept was conceived,

“I wanted to make my own company, and was captured by the success of online stores and auction sites, but I wanted it to be different. I wanted to do something totally new, something nobody else had thought of. Initially I thought about bringing people together to sell their skills, rather like an Internet employment agency but, as there are already so many similar sites, I wondered if it could be possible for people to trade their skills instead. That’s when the idea of Trade a Favour was born.”

To find out more about this exciting new service, contact Trade A Favour Ltd, or visit www.tradeafavour.net. The official full launch of the website, originally planned for June 11th, has been delayed due to technical problems but is now planned for August 31st. New members have the opportunity to influence improvements and changes to the site and the service being provided in addition to being offered incentives to join this unique service.

Trade A Favour Limited was registered in the UK on March 22nd 2007 and officially began trading on June 11th 2007.
