hi - message to the person who published these pics - it is possible to publish several pictures at once via the indymedia publish form, so you don't need to do a new posting for every single one of the 15 pictures. As such they have been collected here under one posting. The order may be a little out as all the pictures needed to be resized as well since they were very big files both in file size and dimensions. If there's a problem with this, you can get in touch with indymedia features email list - see the detail here:  http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/static/contact.html

For more info on publishing pics see:

Your photos could help in Upcoming Trials

24.08.2007 18:41

Photos or videos that show clashes between protesters and police could be VITAL to somebody's criminal trial.

For example, one of the campers who had a blue placard of the earth (identical to the ones in these pictures) is accused of 'assaulting' a police officer with it. He faces trial in November on what is a very serious charge. If you or someone you know has video clips or photos of clashes between police and people holding BLUE SHIELDS / placards could you please send it to the Legal Support team at the Camp:  legalsupport@climatecamp.org.uk? Your footage could exonerate someone. Thank you.

we watched an indymedia documentary on the camp (link??) on monday night i think.
this battle saw a protester get over the small wooden fence and break the police line. he was then grabbed, thrown towards the fence, colliding with another officer and then they both fell through the fence....

gripping stuff

great action pics and well done to all for standing up to vicious cops. I went on the sedate alternative route to baa.

just to be really picky though, the crop wasn't broad beans it was field beans. i know cos i had earlier pinched a few handfuls to grow for myself. however battle of the field bean field sounds a bit clumsy. maybe battle of the phaseolus vulgaris or battle of the green manure? sorry, i jest.
