The Reverend Jesse Jackson (yes, THE Jesse Jackson) is coming to Nottingham as part of 'The Economics of Colour' tour to help launch the 'Equanomics Campaign' - the aim of the campaign is to achieve racial justice through economic equality.
It is supported by the TUC, and by the new Nottinghamshire, Mansfield and Nottingham Trades Union Council(TUC - also known as the Trades Council).
Nottingham's Jesse Jackson meeting is at 6pm on Friday, 24 August at Pilgrims Church, Queens Walk, The Meadows, Nottingham.
It will be the first outing for the new Trades Council Banner.
