Once again, a number of rejected Congolese asylum seekers are being deported on a charter flight on 30th August. Actions planned to try and stop that so far include:

Have you called your own local action against the charter flight? This could include holding a demonstration (at your local Immigration Office, Immigration Court, immigration removal centre, or a shopping precinct - anywhere that is best placed to attract public and media attention). You could write to your local newspaper. You could hold a Public Meeting.
If you can organize an action, try to hold it on Tuesday 28th August 2007 - 12:00 noon
If you can get back to us soonest, we hope to produce a comprehensive list for distribution this Thursday/Friday.
Please let NCADC and Congo Support Project know of any event you organise. We need to know:
Time & place of demo
1 contact phone number, 1 contact email address
List of organization/s calling the demo
Congo Support Project: liz.atherton@freeuk.com
