Update on the Farnborough Airport blockade: the blockade started at 7.15am today and consisted of 2 big concrete lock-on devices, connected up with other lock-ons and D-locks. The blockade was set up across the access road to the airport. Two police officers were present at the site when people arrived but were unable to do much. The blockade caused a fair bit of disruption in its first hour, with people on their way to work in the area being leafleted and informed aout what's happening and why. All the protesters have now returned back to the camp where they enjoyed a fine cup of tea.
