Aug. 14, 2007 (Business Wire) -- Idearc Media Corp., home to Superpages.com(R) and publisher of the Verizon(R) Yellow Pages, is currently distributing the Babylon-Bay Shore, Brookhaven, Eastern Suffolk and Huntington-Smithtown Verizon Yellow Pages directories to more than 780,000 residents and businesses in Suffolk County, N.Y.(1)

The new Verizon Yellow Pages directories include the following features:

-- the Inside Look(TM) Community Magazine, a fact-filled guide with information on must-see attractions, museums and theaters, recreation and activities, and area maps.

-- a Dining Your Way!(R) restaurant guide, that spotlights area restaurants with an A-Z index, menus and maps;

-- a $2 Million Scratch and Win Game, in which residents have the chance to win a $2 million spending spree by playing the game piece found inside each directory; and

-- valuable coupons from many local businesses.

In November, residents and businesses will also receive a Suffolk County Verizon(R) Yellow Pages Companion Directory, a compact-size directory. Idearc Media is the only major yellow pages publisher in Suffolk County to provide a compact-size directory for on-the-go use. The upcoming companion directory will include the Dining Your Way! restaurant guide and a coupon section. According to industry research companion directories deliver about 40 percent additional calls to advertisers.(2)

In addition to the Verizon Yellow Pages and Superpages.com, Idearc Media is expanding its multi-product portfolio and recently introduced a new publication, Solutions at Hand(TM). The new magazine comprises editorial content from Meredith Publishing, publishers of Ladies Home Journal, and local advertising content exclusively for Suffolk County, providing a one-stop local resource for enhancing every aspect of the home and yard.

The Babylon-Bay Shore, Brookhaven, Eastern Suffolk and Huntington-Smithtown July issues feature articles by local home experts about garage makeovers, concrete in the home, kitchen cabinetry and mosaic tiles in the bathroom. Solutions at Hand is published quarterly; to subscribe, visit SolutionsAtHand.com (www.solutionsathand.com).

'Idearc Media continues the transformation from solely a yellow pages publisher to a multi-media company by providing new, strategic ways for our advertisers to reach a targeted audience,' said Tracy Oswald, general sales manager at Idearc Media. 'The feedback we've received since introducing Solutions at Hand this past spring is positive. Consumers are enjoying the content and advertisers are receiving new leads.'

People who prefer to use the Internet can use Superpages.com (www.superpages.com), the expert in local search, to find local and national businesses and to compare goods and services when they are ready to buy. With more than 2.8 billion network searches in 2006, Superpages.com includes listings for more than 18 million small-to-medium-sized businesses in the United States, 11 million of which feature enhanced content.
