Your Driver Record

EX DVLA-DLA | 14.08.2007 00:25

The driving licence authority now called the DVLA does not hold the details of your driving record exactly.

In 1973 the Licencing authority in Swansea had a serious fire.Try to obtain this information via the freedom of information act will result in a point blank responce. But there are other ways of obtaining this information. But this fire destroyed a large quantity of the then paper records. An ad lib policey was adopted of if "they give the info as true take it as true."This carried on right up to the mid 1980's when the system, what there was of it,was transferred to computer. And there we have another story. The first computer online only showed gobbldygook on screen. The second could not link to the post office post code system because at the time most people did not use it.The third was so expensive it was abandoned. It is now into the forth generation system.But.There has been two other fires since the first one.Again denied by the DVLA.But estimates were at the time that more than 39% of records were lost. Some partial record were restated to the system on the basis of brought in employees,as the union ones would not do what they were told, and that was to enter in information on the basis of what the scab labour"thought "it said. For instance.John Jones was convicted in1999 for-------uninteligable.Scab would say"drunk driving ".Or whar ever whim they operated on.Try it for your self under freedom of information, befor it is no more. And see if you can obtain what i say here.If not contact Swansea Fire brigade. They are very willing to tell all.
