Oswestry Coalition for Peace and its supporters held a stall in Oswestry town centre to mark the 62nd anniversary of the atomic bombing of Nagasaki.
In just a couple of hours, campaigners collected hundreds of signatures on a CND petition calling for the government to drop its plans to renew Trident.
