Swedish construction and civil engineering group Peab AB announced on Tuesday (7 August) that it has won a contract to renovate the Stockholm Court House in Stockholm, Sweden.

The contract, awarded by Vasakronan AB, is valued at SEK330m.

The project is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2009.

Peab, headquartered in Forslov in southern Sweden, is one of the Nordic region's leading construction and civil engineering groups. The company has some 12,000 employees and annual net sales of over SEK30m. Peab is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.69 Swedish kronor (SEK).
