LAKE HARMONY, PA, Jul. 25, 2007 (Market Wire delivered by Newstex) -- This week, Gemini Explorations Inc. (OTCBB: GXPI) announced that phase two-channel sampling for the La Planada Gold project is in progress. The Antioquia, Colombia region alone produces 1,000,000 ounces of gold per year currently, and many operations are by pick and shovel. As reported on February 23, 2007, Chief Geologist Carlos Alberto Vera of Minera Primecap Geological Services (MPGS) estimated the La Planada Gold project to contain over 3 million ounces of gold representing a potential 2 billion dollar deposit, with gold trading at $650 per ounce. Currently, Gemini is researching the purchase its own drill versus hiring outside contractors. President Michael Hill stated, 'We are extremely pleased with the sample results we have seen so far, which have met and in certain instances exceeded our expectations. Our goal is to have the drilling program well underway in 2007 and prove up the La Planada Gold Project to be the multi-million ounce gold deposit that we believe it is.'
