as many of you may be aware last year witnessed the first national camp for climate action. this was held in yorkshire in the shadow of Drax power station, (the uk's no.1 carbon emitter) and was attended by approx 600people over the course of one week. the camp served to highlight many of the problems we are today facing regarding climate change and to offer solutions and a sense of purpose in what can be an otherwise pretty depressing state of affairs.

the camp was a great success as it brought a lot of groups together who have been campaigning seperately and also it educated and politicised a lot of individuals who had had no experience of such things...

so, this year we're doing it all again
this year tis going to be even bigger and better
this year we're going to heathrow!

are you up for it?
liverpool and manchester are joining forces to create a combined neighbourhood and to be perfectly honest liverpool aint doing so well in terms of numbers and stuff and i'm sick of losing out to manchester time and again so i'm sending out a request, nay a plea! to all those people in this great city of ours who are willing and able to go to this year's climate camp, (14th-21 August) and show the world that the heart, soul and passion of liverpool did not leave when the last beatle got the train down south!

you do not have to have been born a scouser but if you now consider it to be your home then let's get together to show the world that we too care about the chaos that is happening to our planet.
