BELLINGHAM, Jul. 11, 2007 (McClatchy-Tribune Regional News delivered by Newstex) --
Local law enforcement will offer information on how to stay safe during the third annual Crime Prevention Information Fair July 21.

Free document shredding and car seat inspections will be offered, and kids have the opportunity to win a free bike during a bike safety demonstration.

The event is designed to encourage participation in the 24th annual National Night Out, an Aug. 7 crime prevention and neighborhood block watch event.

The fair will take place between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the parking lot of Lowe's (NYSE:LOW) Home Improvement at 1050 E. Sunset Drive.
