Nominees for the Teen Choice 2007 awards have been announced. The awards celebrate the hottest teen icons who made waves this year in film, television, music, sports and fashion. It will air at 8 p.m. Aug. 26 on KMPH, Channel 26.

Here's how on-top the awards show is when it comes to teen culture. 'High School Musical 2' is up for a television award, and the cable movie has not even aired.

This year, Lily Allen, Shia LaBeouf, Sacha Baron Cohen, America Ferrera, Sanjaya and 'Heroes' are among those receiving their first Teen Choice nominations. Justin Timberlake, the reigning Teen Choice champ who has won 18 surfboards since 1999 for solo and group projects, landed four more nominations this year.

You can be part of the process now. Anyone 13 to 19 years old can vote at www.fox.com/teenchoice. Remember, voting is a privilege.
