Data Protection Act

05.07.2007 15:37

tell any photographers/videoers that you want their name and number so you can apply to get a copy of the photos of you they just took under the Data Protection Act - they must comply with at least a number - if they don't then report this to the senior officer - also ask them why they are photographing and what happens to the pictures and then approach the senior officer and ask him/her the same question -if you get the usual 'for evidence gathering purposes' point out that there is no unlawful activity going on adn why then are they taking mugshots - and try asking any other plod the same questions - its always amusing to see how emabarrassed they all become and that no-one knows what happens to the pictures or who views them

nice pics but...

how about you select a few rather than uploading dozens which are pretty much all the same as they kind of lose their impact and become a bit tedious after you see the same cop the first dozen times.

Insidious

There is something very insidious about police who deem it necessary to film peaceful protesters-
Rioters?Sure film them if they are violent, but peaceful protestors?
Exactly why are these law abiding citizens being filmed? For some kind of police database?Or NSA database maybe?
The act of filming in this case is in my opinion, police oppression.
Exactly when did peace loving people become the enemy of the state?
FUCK the new world order!

Great photos, Menwith hill usually provides excellent cop photo opps, there are a few real gems here. I'm happy to have seen them all, though I can see how someone not so keen on the subject might think it over the top.

Nasty, evil, pitiful creatures of a very sadly low - life nature.
WHO are THEY there to DEFEND?!?! Huh?
