Expatriate UK Bangladeshis money stolen by money transfer fraudsters
CBRUK | 03.07.2007 15:29 | Analysis | Migration | Social Struggles
The East End of London is witnessing a series of tussles today between those who are demanding the restoration of the money lost by the expatriate Bangladeshis in the UK and those seeking to deny the devastating impact the theft and fraud have had on the people whose money has been stolen.
Over the past few days. a number of 'media' incidents has been staged by a bunch of self-seekers trying to get their own images and names of their own trading outfits in the reports about the tragic experiences of the Bangladeshis whose money has been robbed. Involved in these appearances are some of the secondary defrauders who are conducting a diversionary spin to the effect that the theft is not a theft and that the defrauders are 'using the law'. This is totally untrue and has wider implications on the lives of the poor people who have lost their precious cash.
