UK expatriate Bangladeshis hard earned cash robbed by Bangladeshi outfit

CBRUKonline | 02.07.2007 10:56 | Migration | Social Struggles | Workers' Movements | London | World

A number of spontaneous demonstrations have been held in the UK, including in Luton and mainly in London. The people agitating in these demonstrations are almost all Bangladeshis [or arte people of Bangladeshi origins with needy relatives back in Bangladesh] who have just found out that a money transfer outfit they gave a total of several £Million to has stolen their cash. All kinds of short term characters are embarked on exploiting the situation for their petty and unpleasant ends.

CBRUK is organizing a legal action campaign to get the people their money.

CBRUK is actively OPPOSED to public funding of community groups and has estabissphed a track record of using the legal avenues and processes for realising the relevant claims and rights concerned.

We are NOT asking for any contributions to us whatever. All we want to do is cut out the new diverters and suckers, many of whom we have been monitoring for the past few days, and make sure that the people that have been robbed are able to legally and effectively claim what is their due.

CBRUK is asking anyone who has genuinely lost money to 'First Solutions' or to any of their agents to contact us as a matter of urgency.

Send your full details and telephone number and our legal action team will get back to you within 24 hours of our hearing from you

An advert from a legal 'Claims Farmer' on Indymedia?

04.07.2007 07:58

Call our legal hotline?

This sounds like a Claims Farmer to me.

Sign on the dotted line and our dedicated staff will help you out?

Pay for advertising space rather than try to make this sound like some sort of community campaign.

NOT a 'Claim Farm' - a CAMPAIGN to restore the peoples' money stolen

CBRUK is not a 'Claim Farm' in any way.

It is THE campaigning organisation associated with the UK Bangladeshis since the organisation was founded in July 1989.

ALL CBRUK action has been about putting lawful and democratic pressure on the relevant decision makers to do their job.

CBRUK is the only independent legally active body that has a long term programme in place for the restoration of the stolen money to the people who have been robbed on this occasion.

CBRUK will be publishing the due info at the appropriate stages.

Just so that there is no temptation on the part of anyone to indirectly do the spinning for the interests of the thieves who have been exposed so far, the following points on the record should be remembered by anyone who is genuinely interested to learn about the Bangladeshi part of the population in the UK:-

CBRUK OPPOSES corruption of public offices and has been the main campaigner against public funding of 'community groups'.

CBRUK is preparing independent legal action to make sure that all whose money has been stolen get their money back.

CBRUK has never been a ‘Claim Farm’ nor has it ever been associated with a Claim farm. It is the campaign that has been initiating campaigns to stop the ethnicity-linked fraudsters who have corrupted the community and robbed parts of its members.

It is interesting that ‘Shaz’ does not give a name or address or say if they are a genuine name or a pseudo name.

CBRUK is the only campaign that has not sought to make ‘subsidiary’ media appearances at the expense of the people whose money has been stolen.

CBRUK is watching as much the primary thieves who stole the peoples money as well as the secondary fraudsters who have e been trying to make their own subsidiary careers by exploiting the situation.

CBRUK is preparing the necessary legal steps that will be sustainable and operated until the thieves return the money to the people they have robbed and deprived…

If ‘Shaz’ is at all bothered for the people who have lost their money, then ‘Shaz’ should do something, original and independent [of the various outfits set up by crooks and fraudsters] and do the right thing to help the people, not try to undermine efforts that are as pure as pure can be – in context.

Just look around and watch the screens of the satellite TV channels and you will see how any subsidiary ‘trade and career’ plans are being put into operation while the peoples’ money remains in the possession of the thieves…
