UK Terror Plots Result In Irrational Fear Mongering

Lee Rogers | 01.07.2007 22:42 | Anti-militarism | Anti-racism | Repression | London

The recent so-called failed terror plots in London have sparked irrational fear mongering from both the British and U.S. governments. This fear mongering has been magnified by the utterly shameful coverage of these events by the establishment media.

The recent so-called failed terror plots in London have sparked irrational fear mongering from both the British and U.S. governments. This fear mongering has been magnified by the utterly shameful coverage of these events by the establishment media.

The convenient timing of these plots is incredibly suspicious considering the fact that Gordon Brown just took over as Prime Minister two days prior to these events. The plots which consisted of a gas filled Jeep on fire crashing into the Glasgow airport terminal and a couple of crudely designed gasoline car bombs in London were so poorly carried out by the so-called terrorists that it makes the fear mongering all the more laughable. It almost appears as if these terror plots were designed to fail intentionally in an effort to solidify Gordon Brown’s power base. Considering the history of British intelligence agencies staging terror attacks and hyping terror plots, this is a very likely scenario. The failed terror plots provide an opportunity for Brown to justify and implement future policy that capitalizes on the public’s fear as well as show his leadership abilities in a so-called crisis situation. Brown has previously planned tough new anti-terror laws in the UK and he may use this manufactured crisis as a way to implement his draconian proposals which further erode individual liberty. Brown has also recently called for a New World Order which can only be achieved through a climate of fear considering the increased worldwide resistance to global governance.

The immediate response to the failed terror plots resulted in the closure of airports and transit systems as well as an increase in the UK’s terror threat level to critical. The U.S. government has also responded to these failed terror plots by increasing airport security. The fear mongering has also resulted in the evacuation of JFK airport due to what has been called a suspicious package. Talking heads on the establishment media were already hyping the failed terror plots with some like Fox News even stating that the U.S. is probably the next target. The airport evacuation is likely being used to justify the continuous fear mongering by the bought and paid for fascists in the establishment press.

Ex-CIA agent Larry Johnson has even questioned the fear mongering by the government and press. Johnson was recently on MSNBC with Keith Olbermann to discuss the failed terror plots and explained that the two so-called car bombs were so crudely designed, that they could not have killed anyone even if the gasoline was ignited properly. This contradicts claims by the government stating that the gasoline bombs could have killed hundreds. Watch the video clip of Johnson and Olbermann discussing this situation below.

We already know that western intelligence agencies have historically been involved in government sponsored terrorism for many years. We have also seen both the U.S. and British governments consistently hype so-called terror plots and stage events in an effort to scare the public and justify the phony terror war against Al-Qaeda. Nearly every terror plot and attack is blamed on Al-Qaeda because it is an organization that doesn’t even exist. The documentary film Power of Nightmares goes into the non-existence of Al-Qaeda in more detail. Even more disturbing is the fact that the origins of Al-Qaeda link directly back to the CIA. Al-Qaeda was originally formed by the CIA as a database of names who were used to aid in fighting the war in Afghanistan against the Soviet Union during the 1980s. Al-Qaeda is simply nothing more than a proxy of the CIA but through the mass media brainwashing by the establishment press, they have managed to convince the public to be afraid of a threat that doesn’t actually exist. Al-Qaeda is really nothing more than the real life version of 1984’s Emmanuel Goldstein.

The whole premise of Al-Qaeda is best summed up with a quote from Adolf Hitler.

Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it”

It is possible that these bungled terror attacks were the act of a small group of crazy people. However, considering the use of two expensive Mercedes automobiles in the failed car bomb plots as well as the coordination and the timing of these incidents, it is more likely that this was an operation funded and carried out by British intelligence. Talking heads on Fox News even stated that despite the fact that the terror plots were bungled terribly, they were still a professional job.

The big story though is not who pulled off these bungled attacks but the irrational fear mongering by the U.S. and British government that is parroted by the establishment press in both countries. This is just another attempt by the establishment to scare the public and justify the phony terror war.

The fear mongering has been widely criticized. Check out links to other articles which analyze and denounce the shameful behavior by the government and press.

The name has nothing to do with databases:

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Qaeda#The_origin_of_the_name_.22al-Qaeda.22

The 'Base' in reference is inherited from MAK:

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Qaeda#Origins_in_Maktab_al-Khadamat_.28MAK.29

Bin Laden was not the first man in Afghanistan and he wasn't even in charge or even had any great influence over the majority of the mujahadin there. His faction were knowns as "Arab fighters".

Al Qaeda was the offspring of a marriage of Bin Laden's assets around Africa, Middle East and Central Asia and Zawahiri's Egyptian, Islamic Jihad- they even held a press conference to tell the world of their engagement:

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayman_al-Zawahiri

It has since grown to encompass many like-minded organisations across the globe creating a cartel of organised crime as well as terrorism. It has been/is heavily involved in drugs, weapons and illegal diamond markets amongst other things.

State sponsorship of Al Qaeda was never, and is still not the sole domain of the US. Pakistan and Saudi are probably more significant in their involvement with Al Qaeda. Pakistan had an obvious need to stop the USSR advancing on to its soil and the Saudi situation is a mix of institutional sympathy/support to a strategic appeasement to minimise the threat of al Qaeda to the royal dictatorship. The greyest of areas is probably in Algeria where it seems difficult to separate the state security apparatus from al Qaeda at all.

If anything, an objective appraisal would suggest that the CIA/MI6/ISI were/are CLIENTS of al Qaeda. Certainly, the notion that they are a totally fabricated organisation is just as absurd as suggesting that no planes hit the WTC, if not more so.

On an ideological level, the upper echelons of al Qaeda takes much inspiration from this guy:

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sayyid_Qutb

And you can hardly suggest that he was a deep cover plant.

Al-Qaida, literally "the database"

05.07.2007 09:16

Bin Laden was... a product of a monumental miscalculation by western security agencies. Throughout the 80s he was armed by the CIA and funded by the Saudis to wage jihad against the Russian occupation of Afghanistan. Al-Qaida, literally "the database", was originally the computer file of the thousands of mujahideen who were recruited and trained with help from the CIA to defeat the Russians.

Spot the difference!

Here is 'database' translated into classical Arabic:

 http://www.tps.edu.ee/nastik/ar-en/index.php?q=database

And for a backtranslation test here's 'al-qaida' translated into English:

 http://www.tps.edu.ee/nastik/ar-en/index.php?q=%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%82%D8%A7%D8%B9%D8%AF%D8%A9

Not even an overlap. 'Algorithm' is the only result with any remote contextual translation at all...

Don't believe everything the FBI/CIA tells you. Or have they fabricated Arab dictionaries retrospectively like MiniTruth?

A bit more

"A friend who translates into English from Arabic sent me the following:

Wehr (regarded as THE Arabic-English lexicographer)
gives qaa`ida as: foundation, groundwork, basis,
fundament, base (geom or mil), support, pedestal,
chassis, undercarriage, precept, rule, principle,
maxim, formula, method, manner, mode + several more
synonyms.
Qaa`ida harbiyya (lit. 'war base') is a base
of operations. It comes from the verb qa`ad, which
means: to sit."

Perhaps the confusion, has arisen from the CIA having a database CALLED 'al-qaeda.mdb'???
