"Guardian" summary obscures open secrets

x . . . . remember | 27.06.2007 14:11 | Anti-militarism | Globalisation | Other Press | London | World

A very odd, brief summary of the - at last - free information opening up of the 700 or so pages of the 1973 postwatergate CIA directors report about"what else have we gotten involved with thats against the USAs laws" seems to have masked the entire story - for some reason - perhaps cheap "opinion influencing" - after all, that "PR" industry is where a lot of those inept ex-spies of that era - "with con-nexions" went -

In fact, with 700 pages of very different items summarised bya SINGLE misreported tale, even that ( deliberate "heard that in the past" cuba bit ) misses the ACTUAL maneuver thats going on - the hooking into the loop of "the government" for the sake of later cover-ups - a tactic that has so often got played you might have thought all journalists or "Inquiries" might spot it at a thousand yards.
The reasons for this report aint got a mention in the piece - (watergate) despite the current USA vice Presidents aide having got thrown in jail for a couple of years last week (full coverage in the ????) for lying about the cover-up of the niger uranium bit of the lies that took the USA into the quagmire (- far worse - watergate was domestic "hardball" politics).
Neither did a few of the misused bits of tech or techniques that have gotten so abused in the "pfi" sector of "security"/protection rackets after that time.
Quite how cheap it was to get wars or coups going, quite how slack with public safety these people were - quite how very INEPT they were/ ARE, in the "new" "for hire" jobs they subcontract out to others, who use others in "pseudo-tribes" or cheaper "super""hustler" easy to expend "cut-out" units . . . . these are the sort of things you might get some idea of from the actual digest of these papers.
You might also get some idea of the odd preference they have for "payment in kind", taxhaven holidayhomes, etc, although i dont think it mentions that cheapest - if "funniest" of all the ways to get dirty jobs done by others - cheaper- or free- the tongueflickin, littlefinger wagglers "induction into a qwerty-pie diabolic cult" scam . . . . although it mentions a few of the early "in-house" bits of research that allowed that ridiculous scam to work for a bit!!!!

The "keeper of the states "ex-secrets" library mentioned one other thing on the wireless last night thart of chimes too. . . . he said that these 700 or so pages (693) were a result of the then director of the CIA asking each department to cough up the things itthought were BOUND to come out with a half-serious inquiry.
So this is the "cleaned up" version -from the "horses mouth" - but it alters the entire history of the last 50 years - expect "smokescreens" - but it does - then allows "straight" journalists the UNDENIED basis to alter their parameters to comprehend whats going on, 2007.

. . . . UNDER REPORTING . . . .

gets noticed, these days.
. . . . good.

. . . . usa arms corporations getting easy ride from recent reports? the straightforward conclusions drawn about the serious global regulation of that industry unmentioned ? a prohibition about discussion of the serious need to stop the structural encouragement of war, insecurity etc. ( what - but private fire brigades is the way we always . . . . hmmmm. whats "unthink", then, WHY do you think THAT is. A single rotten "secretpoliceman" in the world ? i think so. Perhaps a few, from different nations? What slushfunds might THEY work for then? BUT there isnt recent newsabout THAT sort of thing is there???? )

"nothing to inquire about here, moveon moveon????"
I think there is, too.
