Liverpool: Peak Oil and Climate Change event

Liverpool Permaculture Society | 09.06.2007 16:43 | Climate Chaos | Ecology | Liverpool

Liverpool Permaculture Society are trying to raise awareness around the issues of Peak Oil & Climate Change & to promote organised community response & planned Energy Descent in the face of these challenges. We need to take power back to our communities, decentralise & become as self sufficient as possible to have the best chance of dealing with this crisis. Burying our heads in the sand & relying on central government & big business to save us leaves us powerless & vulnerable.

Please come & bring anyone you think may be interested to a FREE showing of the award winning film the "Power of Community".

Thursday 14th of June 7.30p.m. - 9.00p.m.ish

Sefton Park Cricket Club, Croxteth Drive, L17 1AP
