Welsh LNG pipe protest has been a giant waste of time

The pipe will still be built but other activists have made a real impact on Ryan Air and 4x4 sales.

What has been the point of the LNG Pipe protest in Wales? What has it achieved or changed? It just seems like a giant waste of time to me. The pipe will be built and the protesters will have done nothing to stop it.

It is much more important to try change consumer behaviour, when it comes to Climate Change and Social Justice. Protests about short haul flights (eg: Plane Stupid) and 4x4s are actually working! Ryan Air admits that Climate activism is hitting its sales.
The sales of 4x4s are down! see:

The pipe protest sounds 'radical' but its been a giant waste of time. Bristol Rising Tide have targeted the pipe because it is 'real' and 'physical' but the really important issue is what's inside peoples minds (their knowledge/attitudes) ..... because if you can change that, then people will do things differently, change their behaviour and not take that flight and not buy that 4x4.

The pipe protest will change nothing. The pipe will still be built but other activists have made a real impact on Ryan Air and 4x4 sales. I believe the pipe protest is just about people trying to create an 'activist lifestyle' and having a cool camp and partying etc. What a waste.
