The peaceful rally was yet again attacked by police, this time not to the scale of Saturday's riot.
Two specific police units have now been identified as the more loony and violent ones. Berlin units 2421 and 2422. They can be identified by these numbers on their backs and the black bear insignia on the left arm.

hi, was at the Lager (detention centre) demo and march to Rostock same day, didn't realise all this had happened before. The chant people aim at the police is "Wo? Wo? Wo war Sie zweiundneunsig?" or "where? Where? Where were you in Ninety-Two?" in reference to the police's complicity in the fascist attacks on migrants in that year. Other chants included "Freedom of Movement is a right, We are here and we will fight!" and of course "Hoch! Die! Internationaler Solidaritaet!" i.e. up with international solidarity.
