The Fragments Of Protest

Minority groups protesting have little or no impact

Protesting groups that are connected to a small collective have little or no chance of making a difference. They are well meaning in their intent and all power to them. But the reality is little comes.I for one support the international day for John Bowden. But in reality the international day will be a small minority voicing in one way or an other to highlight his plight. We are pockets of dissent. We who come here to read or write all have similar values and beliefs in the world we want.Often i read a new protest is forming. We are all asked to support it.But what realy happens? From small acorns great---,you know the saying. But we need forests of oak trees. With this great internet of connectivity and communication we are still not uniting. Why?
