Arwa from Hebron Speaks in Manchester and Sheffield

Arwa Abu Haikal will be speaking in;
Manchester on Tues 22nd May at 7.30 and Sheffield on Thurs, 24th May at 7.30.

Arwa is in England for 3 weeks, speaking about the experience of her family living alongside an extremist Jewish settlement in the middle of the Palestinian town of Hebron.

Arwa is in England for 3 weeks, speaking about the experience of her family living alongside an extremist Jewish settlement in the middle of the Palestinian West Bank town of Hebron.

She has spoken at New Roots café; at the Ashram Community’s 40th anniversary; at the Gathering of Burngreave Asram and at the Northern Rally for Palestine in Sheffield, where she shared a platform with M.P. Clare Short and spoke to a crowd of over 1,200 people.

In Hebron Arwa works for the Ministry of Youth and Sports and like all other government employees has not been paid much for a very long time. She founded a women’s centre and teaches karate and relaxation.
