Striking security guards at three of Oxford’s park-and-ride sites have stepped up their industrial action in the dispute over staff numbers on late shifts. From last Monday until Saturday, security guards at Redbridge, Seacourt and Pear Tree sites – run by Oxford City Council – walked out between 8am and 9.30am. Bus drivers refused to cross the picket line.
