Has there been any news since about the 'correct' field? I heard it was a field currently planted with winter oil seed rape that they are claiming it the field they intend to plant in. How can that be? Has it been harvested yet (or should I say sacrificed as clearly it's too early to harvest WOSR) and prepared for the potatoe planting?

Apparently the Cambridge trial is now in the ground but if the Hedon trial isn't planted really soon it is surely too late for any kind of representive trial as no commerical crop of potatoes would be planted this late in the season.
