Fascists
The time of Fascist Delusion is upon us.
Only France can save us.
If they elect the fascist Sarcozy they will have let us down.
France blocked the European Constitution last time.
With Sarkozy in power it will be re-presented and passed.
The Fascism will be much worse than the Fascism of the last century.
Now the governments have all the means to really enforce fascism.
The phone lines and computers in every home.
The face and vehicle recognition on every street.
The plastic ID for everything.
Every thought, move and action can now be checked.
In the old days the lunatics and psychos of politics, like Cheney, Blair, Sarkozy, Hitler could only dream of total control of other people to compensate or cover for their frightened little lives.
In this century they will have the tools needed.
The European Constitution will be the start.
From there on it is all downhill.

Dear digericohen,
First I would like to slap you on the wrist for just summing up hitler, stalin and mao as just a couple of same-old, same-old dictators. There are clear differences in these individuals and the historic movements and circumstances etc. None of them deserve any favorable mentioning, as all of their crimes were atrocious and they are in that way "similar", however the situations and ultimate aims of their regimes were so fundamentally opposite, that you shouldn't class them together.
That aside, you fable on about Monsieur Sarkozy trying to establish some sort of fascist dictatorship with the help of modern communication equipment. What I believe you fail to realize is that there really is no need for Sarkozy to be doing this. I have argued this point time and again on (especially UK indymedia) that there is no master plan behind antidemocratic or authoritarian steps that "our" governments take. They simply do these things because they can and because it makes them more able to prosecute "extremists", political, religious or otherwise. They do know just as little as we do where this total control ride is going and we are thus more likely to end up in a legitimately fascist state by accident because too few people did shit about it, rather than because of Sarkozy's super evil plan.
Anyway, I'm tired of this I think I just might re-locate to a country that has an IMC that lets a little less crap onto their newswire. Dear mods, don't take it personal, I'm sure you girls/guys put a lot of energy into this.
Why do I have to be the "voice of sanity" for this one?
