Benjamin Zephaniah and Matt Wrack sign PDC statement for Mumia!

In addition to the signatories listed on the attachment above, during the last week, the poet Dr Benjamin Zephaniah and Fire Brigades Union General Secretary Matt Wrack have both signed the PDC statement calling for Mumia's immediate freedom and noting Arnold Beverly's confession that he was paid by the mob and Philly cops to kill PO Faulkner. Matt Wrack signed on behalf of the entire FBU, representing some 50,000 members.

At the Scottish Trades Union Congress Annual Congress, a motion was passed stating: “That this Congress believes that Mumia Abu-Jamal should be freed immediately from prison, as he is innocent, and the
inherently racist death penalty should be abolished.”
