Reclaim the Square! - Summer picnic

Well after £7m and what seems like several decades the Belaboured Party's vanity project is now open. To celebrate it let's have a mass picnic there on Sun 13th May.

After all that time and money you'd hardly blame the council for thinking that they own the Square ( http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/regions/nottinghamshire/2007/03/366265.html). However, despite their attempts to police the place with various half-coppers ( http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/regions/nottinghamshire/2007/03/364864.html) and dozens of CCTV cameras ( http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/nottingham_old_market_square_-_webcam.htm), it's still a public place. Just to make sure no one's in any doubt about that, let's have a mass picnic to celebrate, and fill the Square with uncontrollable fun and games!

Sun 13th May, 1pm. Bring a CCTV-proof umbrella.
