Eastern Philosophy Poets are the emerging spoken word performance poets and hip hop lyricist. Rising like the khemitian phoenix bird from the underground dung of New York and New Jersey and steeped in the traditions of Rastafari, Sufism, African traditions, The Black Church and Buddhism to say the least, each song represents a different color on the spectrum while maintaining a native aboriginal feel and/or party vibe.

They represent the next level of spoken word and dub poetry and are presently creating their new CD which will be manifested this summer. They host various open mics and perform from coffee shops to stadiums internationally. They consist of Sister Empress Tintawi (Formerly Sister Moon), Ras Isatu & Kamal Imani, all exceptional artists in their own right.

They are bringing refreshing hip hop poetry and spoken word to the world cipher in an eccentric way. Check out the Buddhist chanting on “Da Nu Frequency”.
They have independently and collectively studied and/or participated in most world exoteric and esoteric spiritual systems which are reflected in their music. Sister Tintawi and Ras Isatu have lived in Ethiopia and are currently back in the United States.

Upon viewing and studying “The Secret” as well as “Healing The Luminous Body” they decided to upgrade there thinking as well as there music”.
