Demonstrations in Oslo against the Nato meeting: more the 100 people arrested.

It was a peaceful demonstration the one that started today at 18:00 from Youngstorget in downtown Oslo. Around 1000 people marched peacefully towards the parliament, surrounded by a massive amount of policemen without shields, overnumbering the demonstrators. After the speeches in front of Stortinget (the parliament) some demonstrators managed to climb around the protecive fences surrounding the square and managed to move the demonstration to the adjacent square of the city hall, where the delegations of nato were arriving for dinner. The climate was joyful, even if the police was using teargas in great amounts. The demo managed to be at at least 20 meters from the various politicians entering the hall, and after some peaceful slogan shouting and drum playing, was basically closing the demo and returning home.
The police then converged with some military busses and closed at least 100 demonstrators in a box of trucks. Then intimated the people blocked inside to get out one by one to be searched and checked for ids. At the refusal of the demonstrators, police started throwing tear gasses inside the small containment area and moving the trucks in order to shrink it and push the people out.
We don't have any other information from that point.Nobody of those people have up to this moment returned home, and we give for granted that they have been arrested.
We ask for solidarity actions in front of the norwegian embassies.
