Polish former female minister of housing, Barbara Blida, member of postcommunist SLD, commited suicide this morning, at 6.a.m. in the bathroom of her flat, while the flat was being searched through by the Polish governmentalspecial forces. She was involved in an alleged corruption scandal and accused by some person on money fraud.

The exact circumstances and reasons for her suicide will probably remain unknown, as we are left only to relay of the governmental version of the story, but it might be assuumed that Barbara Blida prefered to commit suicide instead of being sentenced by Polish governmental and "governemnt-friendly" privater media groups. It is already a standard of Polish political life that verdicts are issued before
any trial is made, and they are announced by the chnallls of governmental propaganda. Special forces (political police) are run by the same people as in the times of former regime (Świączkowski, Kornatowski, Wassermann).

It is also difficult to say why Ms. Blida tied to shoot herself in the stomach to commit suicide, and repeated the shoot four times in a row, and why the news was announced after several hours, as if some other version of the story was invented. It is also strange to find out how did she managed to smuggle the gun to the bathroom, while having her flat searched through. As the media in Poland are biased and there are problems with freedom of speech, we might not find out more, so these questions will remain unanswered.
