After this 200th mark on importing human cargo I was like what did that do to stop ,the laws/condition of slavery. This Bill was passed in 1807,in 1808 Washington D.C passed the "BlackCode Bill" so again what did they gain by passing this Bill.
"In 1776 the Maryland assembly passed a law design to limit the effects of diseased convicts being imported into the colony",Maryland Gazette,July 9,1776.
So now i could see how and why they would put a stop to importing cargo(slaves) in to the colony.
In the war of 1812 Humans of color help/aid what we call "America" and in 1827 the state of New,York made this come to pass,but at that time the Democrats had so undermind national will on black civil rigths that the issue languished untill the 1960's?
To say ,stop doing this , but you are not going to stop laws/condition that deprive
life in the business of slavery is not stoping it,now it takes on aother form. Also if you go to" Virgina Gazette"and read the info base on runaway slave,also theres the "The Geopraphy of Slavery" and there is "William Still" who wrote about the form of slavery that pre-date's him and the form of slavery that is present.
