The UK and the USA, the torture states

orca | 11.04.2007 15:04 | Anti-militarism | Iraq

While the Blair Bullshiting Corporation runs with the headline 'US denies Iranian torture claim' like a faithfull puppy dog, the rest of the world has been shown pictures of the Iranian diplomat who was tortured after being kidnapped by the US in Iraq.

The hugely compensated 'brave' British marines were given massive British press coverage for their torture ordeal, which seemingly consisted of having to listen to their colleagues puke with fear. Meanwhile the second secretary of Iran's Embassy in Iraq, Jalal Sharafi, had holes drilled into his feet by the CIA and was beaten with a cable day and night for three weeks. How do I know that isn't just propaganda ? Peter Stocker from the Red Cross confirmed the wounds and confirmed they happened during his detention I wonder how many millions the Sun will pay for Sharafis story ? How are the next British troops captured in Iranian territory are going to be treated and what state are the other five Iranian hostages in that they can't be shown to the Red Cross ?

Lord Carrington resigned over his failure over the Falklands Islands. For younger readers 'resignation' means quitting your job voluntarily on a matter of honour - no wait I have no recent examples of that sort of behaviour to explain the word 'honour'. Anyway, the modern equivalent is Des Browne saying 'the buck stops with me' and 'with hindsight it wouldn't have happened'. With a moments foresight it wouldn't have happened. and that isn't him apologising for the proven torture, or for the fake provocation of sending marines into Iranian
waters, it is his less than half hearted apology for letting them profit from his mistake - 'hush money'.

Good old Orca - never had a thought you didn't post. Selective with the facts again, Peter Stocker also said "but said he did not know how the injuries occurred..I cannot say who did it and where it happened"

LOL. He did say they occurred in his time in detention. Of course, retrospectively he cannot know who did it or where. He can state categorically when they happened. And we do have the diplomats report of who did it and where. Of course even he can't be sure of that, being blind-folded. And being beaten day and night with a cable, and having holes drilled in your feet, that is just got to hurt.

If I had the choice I would consider that slightly worse than having to hear someone be sick. I could listen to vomit all day long and I wouldn't break. Reading your pitiful excuses for torture is much worse than listening to vomit. And you haven't only drilled holes in his feet, you continually shoot yourself in the foot.

Cos I know who you are, and there isn't one of my cousins who don't know your present loction. So tell me, do you consider it moral to drill holes in peoples feet ? Do ya ? You wouldn't complain if that happened to you ? I just want to check what the acceptable rules are.
