Holding to account a Runaway Government

Illegal wars, domestic negligence, increasing segregation across the globe and the consistent arrogance of political leadership.

It is becoming obvious that the government will do precisely what it likes when it likes and how it likes, disregarding the fate of all those individuals who suffer as consequence. And what do the politicians care? Nothing but collateral damage and a quelling of the enemy uprising.

Is it the Iranians that are the enemy or is it the western corporations that claimed there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and still argue that the war in the Middle East is being won?

We must replace this dominant idea of democracy, namely the First Past The Post system of counting votes, with Proportional Representation that allows for the voice of the Greens and Liberals alongside the usual two.
Furthermore, a devolution of authority to local councils will sort out many of the problems associated with urban life, including a more organised Health system operating for the benefit of the local population, education in which teachers actually learn the unique characteristics of each pupil and justice through which people no longer seem so unfamiliar.

It is up to us to push the button and ensure that this nation changes for the best. We need to infiltrate Parliament, bring an end to this curent government, dissolve both Houses, call for new elections under a new system, via referendum if they do not believe that the population wants change, devolve the state into the hands of local council, draw up a new law that prohibits aggressive offensive behaviour above anything else, and hold Tony Blair fully accountable for his crimes via a People's Assembly.
