Blind leading the ignorant

I like the way that er... 'Take it elsewhere' labels this presentation as spamming without actually evaluating the content.

I can see them now, hands over there ears going, 'blah blah blah, show us some evidence, I can't hear you, blah blah blah.'

Roll your sleave up, idiot, you are going to get chipped!

Challenge the evidence...

First of all, no one is going to give an hour of their lives to watch a video like this. If you want to get people to view it, you need to edit it down to no more than 10 minutes of relevant information.

Second, if our structural engineer, who is an academic, has analysed the black box data, and finds something suspicious about it, he knows full well that, if he wants to make his views known in a way that people will respect, he needs to get it published in a properly peer reviewed publication. The main stream media are not going to take a video on YouTube as 'evidence'.

Take your point, sceptic

This is amateurish off the press raw material. I'm pretty sure that Calum will try to get this somewhere in peer-reviewed places, but he's young and an activist as well as an acamedician. Not likely to make much progress with non-establishment views.
This is presented by the local group of activists who hosted his presentation, and should be taken for what it's worth
... Which is far from spam, of course

Hmmmmm

Lets take this one point at a time shall we?

1: "Nobody is going to spend 1 hour watching this"; well there are over 3000 views so evidently someone did!

2: "get it peer reviewed"; its an AV presentation not an paper. You cant get a powerpoint presentation peer reviewed!!!

Until I find a month to write it up in between exams & research & doing lectures thats not happening.

3: If you are unable to watch any lecture over 10 minuites; fine. It tells you how long it is on google before you watch it so no sympathy for lack of stamina I`m afraid!

Your damn lucky I managed to condense 6 months into 90 minuites at all....
