Iran's national freestyle wrestling team, in a world tournament in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, had a decisive victory over the US team on Saturday morning.

Iran overcame US 6-1 at the world free style wrestling competitions in its first presence in the tournament.

Iran's wrestlers who are in Group II of the competition won all US wrestlers except in the weight of 55 kg.

The Russian team in Group I beat Georgia 7-0 and will face Ukraine in its second bout.

Iran is to compete with Uzbekistan on Saturday afternoon.

The World Free Style Wrestling tournament is being held in Krasnoyarsk for 2 days and in 2 groups.
