i have been for the first time to the city centre activist-vegan-posing cafe to be served my vegan coffee by this young lad who had fashionable leather bracelets. If you pose as vegan don;t just not eat it; don't wear it! it puts us off the coffee

I'm glad you have been to The Basement. I also go there often. It is a great place for activists to meet, discuss and plan actions on all issues. It is run by volunteers who are not all vegans but who work there for free and allow a lot of people to have a place to come together and work for a better future. So, get some sense of proportion in your posts and your coffee consumption....or choose to be served by some exploited, badly paid barista in one of the fashionable shit-holes in town like Neros or worse still, Starbucks.
