Musician Michael Franti's stunningly moving search for the human cost of war in the Middle East.

With only his guitar and and a couple of friends for company, Franti travels to Iraq, Palestine and Israel to find the peacemakers, and witness for himself stories that on the news, never talk about the cost to the every day human being who is living through the reality of occupation. A deeply moving film about the natural human desire for peace, what ever side they find themselves on.

"I know I'm not alone" is one of the most positive political & personal songs I've ever heard. I can't recommend it too highly, it's the sort of song that keeps you going when everything else is grinding you down.

I never realised it was also a film by the same artist. I would love to attend this screening but I can't. Does anyone know if this is available for download, purchase or if there is a wider distribution planned ?

Thank you very much for posting this and the link to the Doc. I found it so touching, moving and hopeful, the humanity and the warmth of the people shone through and everyone should see this and see what happens in the real world.

Yeah, I found myself sheeding a few tears here and there. I hope it gets a mainstream screening in the near future... meanwhile, I'm going to encourage everyone I know to watch it.

If it wasn't such a joke of an award, I'd say the bloke deserves the Nobel Peace Prize... if nothing else for having the sheer guts to out the Green zone and into the war zone.

Blair & Bush should be sentenced to watch this film for the rest of their natural lives.
