There will be an organising meeting at the Friends Meeting House, 6 Mount Street, Manchester, from 2.00pm to 4pm. This meeting is for all who want to help defend asylum seekers and refugees against Britain's racist laws. Everyone is welcome.

Can you explain why you support border controls yet claim to be anti-racist?

No idea what the No Borders person is referring to. We've campaigned for years and years on the basis of all immigrations controls imposed by imperialist nations are by definition racist. We held this position way before most left groups said anything of the sort. The whole name Fight Racism! Fight Imperialism! developed in opposition to positions held by the 'left' in the late 1970s to the effect that there could be 'non-racist' immigration controls.
