The Shell Wildllife Photography Exhibition is currently being shown in Aberdeen. On Saturday, 3rd March, Aberdeen Campaign Against Climate Change held a protest with banners, placards and leaflets, highlighting in particular the devastation caused by Shell's gas flaring in Nigeria.
On 3rd March, Aberdeen Campaign Against Climate Change held a protest against Shell gas flaring in the Niger Delta and their sponsorship of the Wildlife Photography Exhibition outside the Satrosphere, which hosts the exhibition. We got good coverage in the local newspaper - though they also interviewed somebody from Shell who said that they were thinking of stopping the gas flaring.(well, they've had plenty of time to THINK about it...).

Any dealer in dangerous substances only has power when there is demand. If you provide the demand then you should be shame-faced to condemn the dealer. Green hypocrites, an upper-class social event.
here's to our last drink of fossil fuels
let us vow to get off of this sauce
shoo away the swarms of commuter planes
Hypocrite
