Levy told him he had a digital recording, made at his home, where Blair had asked him to offer honours to anyone who would agree to give a loan or gift to the Labour Party instead of a declarable donation.

Levy said he recorded this conversation as a form of insurance on the advice of one of his Israeli (Mossad) friends.

So it seems that it is not only Ruth Turner that takes out insurance.
