Defend the NHS Day: Sheffield Demonstration

Protestors assembled on Saturday 3rd March 2007 in Weston Park in Sheffield to march to a rally on the City Hall steps in opposition to the ongoing privatisation of the National Health Service.
Protestors converged on Sheffield from Doncaster, Rotherham, Chesterfield, Kirkless, Huddersfield and elsewhere in the area.
The Sheffield Samba Band led the demo, http://www.sheffieldsamba.org.uk/ and slogans shouted included "welfare not warfare" and "beds not bombs".
