A benefit gig/party at Cathays Community Centre, Cardiff, to raise money for the protests against the LNG Pipeline being built across south wales and to support those arrested for trying to fight the pipe
A 150 mile gas pipeline is being built from Milford Haven, through the Brecon Beacons, to Gloucestershire, cutting a chunk the width of a motorway through the countryside. £750 million is being spent on this project instead of investing in solar, wind & wave power. The project is destroying beautiful countryside & has a number of serious safety concerns. Activists from the local area & beyond have been working together to resist the pipeline.
An anti pipeline benefit party is taking place!
Saturday March 3rd, from 7pm
Cathays Community Centre, Cathays Terrace, Cardiff
Featuring Excentral the Tempest with the New Cross Philarmonic (10 piece live hip hop orchestra!), Jesus Was A Gent and other local talent.
Also featuring sock wrestling and a bar.
Costs £4 on the door/ £3 if your a bit skint
