Mr Moore is merely capitalising on what he perceives to be a populist groundswell. He attacks easy targets, and he is really not all that willing to stick his neck out. The stuff of his movies is confrontational in a manner that can be tolerated. But, when he starts dealing with 911, he is very unsure of himself.
He is a populist. Oh well ... it might help jar the sheeple out of their slumber.
