Didn't see this info until it was too late, but anyway: isnt someone going to organise some propper solidarity demonstration or other action in London? Seriously? 15 people in a city of 8 million? In Copenhagen thousands went out on the streets for the third day today, even though 600 are still arrested. In Berlin, which is a lot smaller than London, there were more than 500 people last night with some decent riots, if i understand things right. Isnt there any form of leftist organisation that cares about this question in the UK enough to actually do more than to put a notice on indymedia a few hours before going of to the danish embassy and takin poser photos?

Also, the whole framing of the question as a squatters issue is narrow minded and in fact plain silly. Jagtvej 69 has been a meeting point for the left for a 100 years, and up until three days ago was a social centre where a bunch of different political and social groups had acitivities. There is no squatters movement in scandinavia - the eviction of ungdomshuset and repression of activistst defending it is part of a general offensive against radical political groups in Denmark.

Anyway, if someone does decide to actually do something worthwhile about it in the London area you should email me and i'll help out if possible...

Thanks for your comments on the efforts of a few people to get some other people interested in supporting Ungdomshuset at very short notice. Yes not many people turned out but at least we did something. Of course if hundred people had turned out it would have been better but at least we tried. I can't see how an act of solidarity can be defined as 'posing'.
Oh and by the way what did you do?
